If you decide to use your insurance benefits for therapy, you should be aware that:
In-Network status varies by providers. Currently we are in-network with:
- Highmark Blue Cross/Blue Shield
- Humana Military-TRICARE
In order for Spero Group, LLC to bill your insurance, some of your personal information must be shared with your insurance company. This includes dates of treatment and behavioral health diagnosis. In some cases, although not very often, the insurance company may request a treatment summary. Depending on your circumstances you may not want this type of information disclosed to an outside party; therefore careful consideration should be given when utilizing your insurance policy.
If you do use your health insurance benefits, it is up to you to check your coverage carefully before your first session. The following questions are helpful to get clarification:
- Do I have behavioral or mental health benefits?
- What is my deductible per year and has it been met yet?
- Is there a limit to how many sessions I receive in a year?
- Do I have a co-pay?
It is your responsibility to be aware of the details of your coverage as well as notifying Spero Group, LLC of any changes in coverage. We will provide help in verifying insurance coverage when possible.
Payment is accepted at the time of your appointment. We currently accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Checks should be made out to Spero Group, LLC.
